Within 30 days of your purchase, items can be returned
to Champion Chevelle for a refund. There is a 20%
restocking fee imposed on all goods returned for a
refund! In-Store Credits can be issued in the full amount
less shipping charges! Shipping charges are always
non-refundable! Customer is responsible for providing a valid shipping address. Any address correction fees charged to Champion Chevelle by UPS or FedEx will be passed on to the customer's form of payment from the original transaction.
Either way, it's necessary to obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from Champion Chevelle. Obtaining an
RMA number ensures that the return process is handled efficiently
and that credits are issued in a timely manner.
Within 30 days of receipt of items purchased from
Champion Chevelle, customers may choose to return:
Any new item in original packaging and original/unused
condition.
Any used Core, as long as it is shipped in the box that
contained the new product.
Any item received in a damaged or defective condition.
Any item received in error. If an item is received in error and is not returned in a timely manner, the customer will be charged full price for the item.
Goods Not Accepted for a Return
If you purchase a product and find it doesn't fit due to any
modification to the car from stock (ie. Engine Swap,
Transmission Swap).
No return on electrical parts, used parts,
rebuilt carburetors, books, special order items, or items
we disclaim in advance.
If you install the item(s), it will be deemed
un-returnable.
Obtaining
a Return Materials Authorization Number
When
you plan to return items via UPS to Champion Chevelle, it's
necessary to obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
number. RMA numbers help us process returns quickly and
efficiently. Please call us toll free at 1-855-832-6743 or go here Contact
Us for your RMA number request. Please include the reason
for the return, date the order was placed, your order number,
name, phone number, and shipping address.
Damage Claim Process
In all cases, Champion Chevelle pre-inspects all products for damages prior to shipping. If you receive a package that has been damaged, if the opportunity persists, please notify the driver prior to the driver leaving. This will speed up the damage claim process and in some cases; they will not even accept the claim without the damage notation from the driver. It's best to open the package in front of the driver. We insure the products full value and it is the responsibility of the carrier to reimburse you for the losses. Damage claim losses are not Champion Chevelle's responsibility. Please keep the product in the original condition in which you receive it for investigation by the freight company responsible. This includes the item itself and all packaging materials. The claim cannot be paid if the packaging is not present! Please call the carrier to get the process started for a claim. Express to the carrier that you have a damage claim on a package you received.
When Your Non-Freight
Products/Packages Arrives
Upon receipt of your non-freight product/packages, you have 24 hours to inspect your non-freight packages for accuracy and/or damages. Any variations from your order should be noted, and Champion Chevelle should be contacted immediately if things do not match. After that time, it is perceived that you have received your order as ordered, without damages or omission of any product.

Simply
take your package to any location that has regularly scheduled
UPS pick-ups. You may want to check with your place of employment
to see if they have regular UPS pick-ups. Or, you can call
1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877) or visit the UPS Web site
at www.ups.com/using/services/locate/locate.html.
As long as your return address label is attached and the RMA
number is included, it will insure the prompt and efficient
handling of your return. Please note, you must insure
the item with UPS for the total amount of the sale!
"Truck Freight"
On
large items deemed "Truck Freight” the bill for
freight will be paid for prior to processing your order. This
is due to the fact that there is no current way to pre-calculate
the truck freight charges via the Internet! You will be making
payment to Champion Chevelle by calling toll free at 1-855-832-6743. Any claim
to damaged products must be taken up with the freight company.
They have internal claim offices for this matter. You must
inspect all packages prior to signing for the delivery. Any
damage found after the fact will lose their right for a claim.
This must be in the presence of the driver and the driver
will provide a claim form that will be processed by the freight
company.
"Shipping Charges"
Shipping charges are, in all cases, the complete responsibility of the customer and Champion Chevelle will not be liable in any case for shipping charges incurred by the customer. This includes both from the origin to the customer and from the customer to the origin. We handle international orders and we will ship to Bongo International which is an export company to have your items sent overseas. We can also ship small items with our flat rate boxes to just about anywhere in the world. Most overseas shipping costs are paid by the customer to the shipping company. We don't accept these payments. The only shipping payments we accept is for any ground shipping from our warehouses to Bongo International based in Bridgeport, CT.

However we still offer international shipping services with our International Processing Facility. If you choose not to go with Bongo International, contact us directly for shipping rates. We also offer international flat rate shipping services for small orders. Credit
and Return Shipping Costs
Upon receipt of your returned item, you will be issued
credit for the original purchase price and applicable sales tax.
Core credits will also be processed within 15 business days.
If the reason for your return was caused by Champion Chevelle or
one of our business partners (i.e., damaged or defective items,
wrong part shipped), we will cover the freight charges on the
replacement items. All other returns (i.e., didn't want,
doesn't like) will be limited to the invoiced purchase price of the
unit(s) less a 20%
restocking fee, and less packaging and/or shipping charges. In-store
credits can be issued for the full purchase price of the goods, less
packaging and/or shipping charges. All in-store credits issued are good for
10
days from the issue date of the credit. After 10 days, a refund will
be issued less the 20% restocking fee. So we suggest using any
credits immediately.
Returning
Used Cores
If
you have paid a core charge for an item purchased from Champion Chevelle, you are eligible for core credit upon return of the
old core unit. Used cores can be returned at any time provided
the replacement parts were purchased at Champion Chevelle and
that they are shipped back in the box you received with the
new product.
You can return used cores by shipping via UPS to Champion Chevelle
or to Champion Chevelle partners for a refund of core charges.
Either way, you must first obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
number. Be sure to state "used core" as the reason for
your return.
Before returning your core, be sure to drain fluids from the core
and place it in a plastic bag to prevent leakage. Then pack it in
the box that contained the new part you purchased from
Champion Chevelle.
